CareShift Hub helps home care agencies, staff, schedulers, compliance users, and caregivers manage job assignments, caregiver availability, compliance documents, notifications, account security, and related company workflows.

This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, shared, retained, and protected when you use CareShift Hub.

Information We Collect

Depending on your role and company configuration, CareShift Hub may collect or process:

  • Account information, including name, email address, phone number, user ID, role, company association, authentication status, MFA status, and recovery-code workflow status.
  • Caregiver profile information, including city, ZIP or postal code, languages, notification preferences, availability, and availability exceptions.
  • Job and assignment information, including job title, description, client reference, schedule, location, assignment status, caregiver interest, claim or assignment details, and job audit history.
  • Compliance and document information, including caregiver documents selected for upload, certification or document type, expiration dates, review status, approval or rejection history, and document audit history.
  • Notification information, including notification messages, delivery state, read receipts, timestamps, and notification preferences.
  • Security and diagnostic information, including login events, refresh token activity, MFA events, device or platform details needed for support, crash reports, error logs, app version, and diagnostic timestamps.
How We Use Information
  • Authenticate users and protect accounts.
  • Display role-appropriate web and mobile screens.
  • Manage caregiver availability and job assignment workflows.
  • Validate caregiver eligibility, certification, compliance documents, and schedule conflicts.
  • Send and display job, compliance, and account notifications.
  • Maintain audit logs for security, compliance, and operational accountability.
  • Diagnose application issues, crashes, and production support requests.
Sharing

Information may be shared with:

  • Your employer or company tenant and authorized users in that tenant.
  • Infrastructure and service providers needed to run the service, such as hosting, email, SMS, storage, logging, crash diagnostics, billing, and security services.
  • Legal, compliance, or regulatory parties when required by law or valid process.

CareShift Hub does not sell personal information and does not use data for third-party advertising or tracking.

Sensitive Documents and Healthcare-Related Data

CareShift Hub may process caregiver compliance documents and job-related operational data that can contain sensitive information. Production deployments should use tenant-scoped authorization, encryption at rest, malware scanning, audit logging, retention controls, and secure backup and restore procedures.

Data Retention

Data is retained according to the applicable company retention policy, customer agreement, legal holds, and applicable law. Compliance documents and audit logs may need to be retained for security, legal, billing, compliance, or job history purposes.

Security

CareShift Hub uses safeguards such as HTTPS, role-based access, tenant-scoped authorization, secure token storage, MFA support, encrypted document storage, and audit logging. No system is risk-free, and suspected unauthorized access should be reported promptly.

Your Choices

Users may update permitted profile fields and notification preferences in the application. Some account, compliance, export, deletion, correction, or tenant data requests may require company administrator action and may be subject to retention requirements.
